The fourth and final FREESIA Challenge, the Innovative Event Design Challenge, saw over 25 entries submitted from 14 Countries across the planet. Florists & flower lovers all over the world challenged themselves to think sustainably and create new Designs & Design Systems for Event Work!
the FREESIA Summit
September 24th to 26th
The inaugural FREESIA Summit begins Saturday, September 24th and runs for 3 Days through Monday, September 26th. With 18 Speakers from 9 Countries around the world, including our 4 FREESIA Challenge Winners. The virtual summit will feature LIVE Presentations from leaders & educators from all parts of our industry, sharing ways they practice and approach sustainability in floristry.
4 Problem-Solving Challenges.
Combining Design Aesthetics with Sustainability, Responsibility, and Innovation… the FREESIA Challenge will welcome florists, designers, and flower lovers across the globe to participate in a forward-thinking design competition committed to supporting sustainable practices for the betterment of the planet.
Each Challenge is 100% Free to join, and we encourage everyone to participate, no matter your experience or skill level. Collectively, we can explore solutions for reducing our impact on the environment!

The first FREESIA Challenge, the 100% Organic Hand-Tied Bouquet Challenge, saw over 60 entries submitted from 15+ Countries across the planet. Designers were challenged to create bouquets made completely from organic materials, supplies included.

The second FREESIA Challenge, the Living Plant Design Challenge, saw over 60 entries submitted from 25+ Countries across the planet. Designers were challenged to think sustainably and create Designs using Living Plants.
