Sustainability Statement
‘In search of reusing rare materials and varieties of orchids, I have created a long-lasting LIVING PLANT DESIGN to decorate a rustic country façade environment in semi-shade of tropical climate.’

Planting system / methods used in your Design
I did the direct sowing in a pot of various uses, using substrate of coconut fiber, and pine bark for the orchids Oncidium and Anguloa, for the other varieties a mixture of soil with worm humus and sand, at the bottom of the pot stones and crossed sticks to achieve good drainage; for Nepenthes and Rhipsalis baccifera sowing in kokedama technique and the Thillandsias as they are aerial locate them in the trunks.
I made moorings with hemp (hemptique) between trunks and began planting taking into account the need for water of the varieties, the shape and color of the flowers and their habitat.
Maintenance is limited to applying water once a week and liquid organic fertilizer to the soil once a month.
