Sustainability Statement

It’s a design, that is sustainable over time, the plants can grow and live in community since they share the same characteristics of the soil, substrates, irrigation and humidity.

The structure is 100% organic, it has a design represented by the forms, I played with the contrast of textures, one smooth and the other has a texture design with seeds of the palm tree adhered with organic clay. The structure has rhythmic, movement, entrances and exits.

The size of the structure is 1.50 m x 70 cm.

Planting system / methods used in your Design

Planting method used some species are made in Kokedama, with moss to maintain humidity and tied with wax thread.

Other species in containers of coco and nuts with drainage, soil with well loosened substrates and wood chips and peat moss.

By using organic elements that nature gives us, we as floral designers, giving added value to that element that is already in disuse, we would be helping nature to reduce the impact on the environment since it gives us so much.
