Planting system / methods used in your Design
Mainly the plants are succulents and Bromeliads and air plants requiring little water and are compatible in growth.Producing beautiful flowers and changing colour with the seasons. The air plants and succulents are attached to the wines and are cascading down .Others on the trunk are planted in soil in a big flat container .Small pockets of Sedum are planted in very small containers with soil ,the sedum growing will cover the small pots forming green balls. Two cut flowers were added to give colour the Artichoke flower and the Agapanthus both in bamboo water tubes.A strand of Passiflora added for colour and flow or rythm.
Misting of plant material will add freshness and will promote growth. With growth all plants will fill up the space and cascade beautifully adding interest and beauty to the design. Basically all organic except very fine wires attached to the small pots with sedum.
The colour and texture of the tree trunk with its shading makes it an attractive container to display all the plants and can be placed outdoors and indoors in a well lit corner.
